The PL Mount Modification Kit with Installation Service allows the Panasonic EVA1 camera to be converted by Wooden Camera to a PL Mount through a modification process. The PL Mount is made of aircraft grade aluminum and includes the PL port cap. Wooden Camera sets the flange focal distance to be correct prior to shipping using collimation tools. Shims are provided with the kit for adjusting back focus in the future as needed.

With this kit, the modification is performed by the Wooden Camera. If you prefer to perform the modification procedure yourself, choose PL Mount Modification Kit.

The modification process can be reversed! If you choose to go back to EF mount in the future, you can do it by reversing steps in the process.

FLANGE FOCUS ADJUSTMENT
For proper flange focus, modified cameras require the use of an included shim set. The correct shims are installed on your camera prior to shipping.

COMPLETION TIME
You will be contacted by email with a date for which to send your camera in to our service center. Estimated completion time will be provided by email but will be between 5 and 10 business days from the time we receive your camera.

SERVICE CENTER LOCATIONS
Cameras will be modified at our main facility in Dallas, Texas.

RETURN PACKAGING AND CAMERA CONDITION
Wrap the camera very securely, print and fill out the form emailed to you and place it in the box, then send to the address included on the form using a certified mail carrier (FedEx, UPS, TNT, etc.) Packaging the camera in it's original box is preferred. Do not include third party accessories like SD cards, batteries, plates, etc. with the camera. Do not allow screws or components to be loose in the package as this will cause serious cosmetic problems. Wooden Camera will not be responsible for damage or loss caused during shipping. If the camera received is in a condition not satisfactory for modification, you will be contacted and the camera will be returned without modification.

WOODEN CAMERA LIMITED WARRANTY
Wooden Camera provides a 90 day limited warranty for modified cameras. Warranty covers modification parts only. Panasonic hardware and software are not covered by this warranty.

Important Note: While the vast majority of lenses are compatible, due to the ND filter turret on the EVA1, lenses with a rear protrusion longer than 33.5mm, measured from the PL flange, are not compatible.
